The Modification of Polyethylene (PE) and Polyester Textile (PES) by the Conducting Copper Sulfide Layers

TL;DR: The phase composition of CuxS layers obtained was studied by means of potentiometric measurements and X-ray diffraction as discussed by the authors, and it was determined that copper sulfide layers in the surface of polyethylene consist of four phases: yarrowite Cu1.12S, spioncopite Cu 1.4S, digenite Cu 2.8S and djurleite Cu 0.95S.

Selective formation of ultrathin PbSe on Ag(111)

TL;DR: In this paper , the ultrathin PbSe synthesized via sequential molecular beam epitaxy on Ag(111) is reported, and the scanning tunneling microscopy is used to resolve the atomic structure and confirm the selective formation of ultrathIN PbSE through the reaction between Ag5Se2 and Pb, as further evidenced by the theoretical calculation.

Preparation and characterization of CdS thin film using chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique for solar cell application

TL;DR: The structural properties of CBD deposited CdS thin films have been studied by varying the processing parameters and Cd/S ratio of the starting precursors in order to better understand the growth conditions as mentioned in this paper .

The Effect of Annealing on the Physical Properties of Thermally Evaporated Cadmium Sulphide Thin Films

TL;DR: In this paper, a single-phase hexagonal CdS with good crystalline properties was characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. But the average roughness was obtained by using AFM scanning microscope, which shows that the average Roughness decreased with increase the annealing temperature.
