Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray optics for liquid surface/interface spectrometers
TL;DR: A new X-ray optics which enables precise structural investigations of liquid surfaces/interfaces is introduced which is based on the use of high-energy microbeams and gives access to large momentum transfer values perpendicular to the liquid surface/interface.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diffraction of 100 to 200 keV X-rays from an Si1-xGex gradient crystal: comparison with results from dynamical theory.
TL;DR: In a large Czochralski-grown Si(1-x)Ge(x) (0.02) gradient crystal, diffraction patterns have been measured in symmetrical Laue geometry using synchrotron radiation in the energy range 100-200 keV in very good agreement with the results from geometrical optics theory for distorted crystals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Propagation of X-rays in distorted crystals under dynamical diffraction
TL;DR: In this article, the basic equations of the dynamical theory of X-ray diffraction for distorted crystals (the Takagi-Taupin equations) are derived and reviewed in two most useful forms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetostrictive displacements around a domain wall junction: elastic field calculation and application to X-ray topography
J. E. A. Miltat,M. Kléman +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the elastic field around wall junctions in magnetostrictive ferromagnetic materials is characterized by the displacements around a disclination, and the classical case of the junction of two 90° walls and one 180° wall is studied in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pepo : a program for the calculation of the reflectivity of cylindrically bent laue crystal monochromators
C. Schulze,Dean Chapman +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a program for the calculation of the reflection profiles of cylindrically bent Laue crystal monochromators based on the Penning and Polder theory of x-ray diffraction in slightly strained crystals is presented.
