Abstract: Smart home is a practical technique to build the simplicity of life. It can be utilized to give assistance and fulfill the necessities of the elderly and the handicapped at houses. Home automation framework will enhance the ordinary living status at houses. The aim of this paper is to implement a central control framework which utilizes a remote Bluetooth gadget and gives wireless access to smart phones. This framework is intended to control electrical gadgets all through the house with ease of installing it, ease of use, and cost-effective design and implementation. more

Abstract: Vehicle washing is a profitable business today, but it produces unwanted environmental effects that should be considered; autonomous systems are a viable solution for the optimization of resources in production processes and services. This paper presents the implementation of an automatic resource feeding system for vehicle washing using low cost devices. The system consists of an Arduino Mega controller, ultrasonic sensors to measure the level of liquids, several actuators, Bluetooth communication devices and a mobile application. The results present the consumption of resources in a month of operation, demonstrating the benefits of this proposal. more

Abstract: This paper presents a design and prototype implementation of new home automation system that uses WiFi technology as a network infrastructure connecting its parts. The proposed system consists of two main components; the first part is the server (web server), which presents system core that manages, controls, and monitors users' home. Users and system administrator can locally (LAN) or remotely (internet) manage and control system code. Second part is hardware interface module, which provides appropriate interface to sensors and actuator of home automation system. Unlike most of available home automation system in the market the proposed system is scalable that one server can manage many hardware interface modules as long as it exists on WiFi network coverage. System supports a wide range of home automation devices like power management components, and security components. The proposed system is better from the scalability and flexibility point of view than the commercially available home automation systems. Abstract: This paper represents the controlling and monitoring of the home environment using wireless sensors. An automated system is represented which can be used for controlling the lights and fans. A computer screen or a Smartphone can be used to monitor the Main control Unit(MCU). A very simplistic Graphical User Interface (GUI) is used which can be easily understandable for the target user. To make the data easily available to the user, this GUI will be implemented on the webpage. more

Abstract: Internet of Things is the internetworking of devices such as heart monitoring, automobiles with built-in sensors, environmental monitoring, home automation and lightning that enable these devices to gather, communicate, share, receive, and transfer data over a network. The Internet of Things is about making the surrounding environment smart including the buildings used for living beings like homes and hospitals. In this paper, various sensors are deployed in home such as motion sensors, luminance sensors and temperature sensors, is discussed. Algorithm to save the energy of lights and air conditioners of the entire home is also implemented in this paper. Energy consumption before and after implementation of system model has been calculated which showed that a total of 20.78% energy has been saved. more

Abstract: Home automation is becoming popular due to its numerous benefits. Home automation refers to the control of home appliances and domestic features by local networking or by remote control. Artificial Intelligence provides us the framework to go real-time decision and automation for Internet of Things (IoT).The work deals with discussion about different intelligent home automation systems and technologies from a various features standpoint. The work focuses on concept of home automation where the monitoring and control operations are facilitating through smart devices installed in residential buildings. Heterogeneous homeautomation systems and technologies considered in review with central controller based (Arduino or Raspberry pi), web based, email based, Bluetooth-based, mobile-based, SMS based, ZigBee based, Dual Tone Multi Frequency-based, cloud-based and the Internet with performance. more

Abstract: The smart house is an important issue in the orange technology. In this paper, we proposes a work which applies the Internet of things (IOT) and motion sensing on smart house, denoted by Smart House Monitor & Manager (SHMM), to improve the convenience, safety, and power-saving of the house. It is based on the Zigbee sensor connected all sensors and actuators. And we have implemented the SHMM with a smart house to demonstrate the availability. more
