Co-ordination complexes of group (IV) halides Preparation and infrared spectra of the complexes of group (IV) halides with diamides of α, w-dicarboxylic acids and dithio-oxamide as ligands

TL;DR: In this article, a comparative study of the donor ability of the oxygen and the sulphur atoms in the oxamide and the dithio-oxamide complexes was made, and it was found that the diamides co-ordinate to the metal atom through the oxygen of the carbonyl group whereas the Doxamide molecule coordinates through the nitrogen of the amino group.
