Effects of journal misalignment on the performance characteristics of three-lobe bearings
TLDR
In this paper, an investigation has been made to evaluate experimentally the performance characteristics of a misaligned 3-lobe journal bearing, and various parameters which have been studied are: friction through coast down time analysis, vibration responses, minimum film thickness, stiffness and damping coefficients of the fluid film, system natural frequency and the damping factor.About:

Accuracy Evaluation of Experimentally Derived Dynamic Coefficients of Fluid Film Bearings Part I: Development of Method
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that bearing coefficients are entirely subject to test conditions, meaning not only sensor accuracy but also where in an orbit data is taken, and that stiffness coefficients had about an order of magnitude less uncertainty in their evaluation than damping coefficients.
