Electron paramagnetic resonance study of X-irradiated tri-coordinated copper(I) complexes

TLDR
X-irradiation of single crystals of several tri-coordinated Cu(I) monomer and dimer complexes studied by EPR revealed that the formation of Cu(II) complexes is attributed to the addition of a radiogenic atom on the Cu(1) precursor.

Four-co-ordinated copper(II) species obtained by X-ray irradiation of a three-co-ordinated copper(I) complex: a single crystal EPR study

TL;DR: In this paper, X-ray irradiation of a single crystal of chlorobis(1-isopropylimidazolidine-2-thione)copper(I) led to the formation of two copper(II) species whose structures were studied by EPR spectroscopy.

Direct Electrochemical Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Copper(I) Complex with 2′‐hydroxy‐5′‐methyl‐acetophenone and Triphenylphosphine Ligands

TL;DR: In this article, a new complex of Cu with 2′−hydroxy−5′−methyl-acetophenone (HMAP) and triphenylphosphine (PPh3) was prepared by the electrochemical oxidation of Cu in acetonitrile solutions.

Transition ion electron paramagnetic resonance

J. R. Pilbrow
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors introduce electron paragmanetic resonance (EPR) spectra and the spin Hamiltonian (SPM) model for line broadening with fine structure resolution or ambiguities.

A new look at the stereochemistry and electronic properties of complexes of the copper(II) ion

TL;DR: As a consequence of the non-spherical symmetry of the copper(II) ion, d9 configuration, and of the influence of the Jahn-Teller, and pseudo Jahn Teller effect on six-coordinate geometries, the stereochemistries of copper( II) ion are characterized by non-rigid geometry (fluxional behaviour), and ranges of distorted geometry (Plasticity Effect) The latter may be connected by a series of Structural Pathways, which may be characterised by an "Electronic Criterion of Stereochemistry

Metalloenzyme Active-Site Structure and Function through Multifrequency CW and Pulsed ENDOR

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) techniques to determine the structure and function of metalloen-zyme active sites (Beinert et al., 1962; Hoff, 1989).
