TLDR
Over the past 30 years, research into environmental noise and sleep has focused on different situations and environments, and therefore the findings are variable, but it still seems necessary for some fundamental questions to be answered on whether environmental noise has long-term detrimental effects on health and quality of life and, if so, what these effects are for night-time, noise-exposed populations.About:

TL;DR: Recent research has proven that the limitations of conventional sleep medicine might be improved upon by applying the appropriate technology and interdisciplinary cooperation which is indeed the future of sleep research.
TL;DR: The analysis of neighborhood impact associated to noise is very important to the living and working environments independently of our activity as mentioned in this paper, however, excessive continuous noise produced by sound equipment may cause annoyance for adjacent environments, as a hairdresser analyzed in this study.

The National Transportation Noise Exposure Map
Edmund Seto,C.H. Huang +1 more
TL;DR: The National Transportation Noise Exposure Map (NTEM) as discussed by the authors was developed to estimate population exposures to various noise levels at the census tract level in the United States by overlaying the Bureau of Transportation Statistics' National Transportation Noise Map with 5-year block group population estimates from the American Community Survey.
Effects of Changing Sleep Habits on the Metabolic and Hematological Marker: A Pilot Study
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated how changes of sleep habits affect hematological and biochemical markers in healthy adults, and found that sleep habits were associated with changes in blood markers.

Befragungs‐ und Messergebnisse zur Akustik in Hotels
Philip Leistner,Noemi Martin +1 more
