TLDR
In this article , acoustic emission (AE) signals were acquired, and their clustering features were automatically extracted by the clustering unsupervised learning method, which showed that a class of AE signals featured high rise time, high ring count, high energy and low peak frequency and low quantity can be used as an indicative precursor feature of hard rock instability.

Study of mechanical behavior and cracking mechanism of prefabricated fracture cemented paste backfill under different loading rates from the perspective of energy evolution

TL;DR: In this paper , uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) tests with different levels of LRs were conducted on 0°, 45°, 90° prefabricated fracture CPBs (PFCPB), and the results showed that UCS and elastic modulus of the filling body were positively correlated with loading rate and initial defects.

Crack classification in concrete based on acoustic emission

TL;DR: In this article, two crack classification methods are compared and discussed from results of three types of concrete failure tests, and it is shown that the ratios of the shear crack which are identified by Green's functions for moment tensor analysis are good agreement with those by parameter analysis in the case that the proportion of the RA value and the average frequency is set to 1-200.
