TLDR
In this paper, the authors examined the extraction of copper(II) with capric acid from ammonium chloride solutions and determined the composition of the complex extracted and found that the extraction process can be adequately described by the equation: 2Cu (a) 2+ + 3(HR) 2,(0) ⇌ (CuR 2 ·HR)2,( 0) + 4H(a) +

Thermodynamic and Steady-State Fluorescence Emission Studies on Metal Complexes of Receptors Containing Benzene Subunits.

TL;DR: Steady-state fluorescence emission studies performed on the Cu (2+) and Zn(2+) complexes show that, while none of the Cu( 2+) complexes is emissive (CHEQ effect), fluorescence emitted is observed for those Zn (2%) complexes with all the nitrogen donors either protonated or coordinated to the metal ions (CHEF effect).

Solvent Extraction of Metal Carboxylates

TL;DR: In this paper, the solvent effect on the extraction and dimerization of copper(II) decanoate has been interpreted according to regular solution theory, and extensive studies have been carried out in the Soviet Union and the United Kingdom.

Synergistic extraction of copper(II) from sulfate medium with capric acid and tri-n-octylphosphine oxide in chloroform

TL;DR: In this paper, the synergistic solvent extraction of copper(II) from 0.33 µm−3 Na2SO4 aqueous solutions with capric acid (HL) in the absence and presence of tri-n-octylphosphine oxide (TOPO) in chloroform at 25°C has been studied.

Extraction of chromium(III) from sodium chloride solutions by means of carboxylic acids

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that trinuclear complexes of the [Cr(OH)R 2 ·HR] 3 formula are formed in the organic phase of chromium(III) with hexanoic acid.

Copper(II) Complexes with Subnormal Magnetic Moments

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of subnormal magnetic moments of copper(II) compounds with subnormal magnet moments can be found, which can be roughly divided into two types: those with direct copper-to-copper interaction and those with super-exchange interaction.

Extraction of copper (II) with capric acid dissolved in benzene

TL;DR: In this paper, the extraction of copper (II) with capric acid dissolved in benzene is theoretically treated, and the extracted species has the dimeric structure of composition (CuR2HR)2 down to 10−5 M of copper.
