TLDR
In this paper, a solution to this problem is proposed by applying approximation filtering with dynamically varied number of samples and weighting coefficients, depending on the ECG signal slope, where the slope measure used is the absolute value of the product of the tilts of two adjacent 10 ms segments sliding along the signal.

A Nonlinear Bayesian Filtering Framework for ECG Denoising

TL;DR: A nonlinear Bayesian filtering framework is proposed for the filtering of single channel noisy electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings, demonstrating superior results compared with conventional ECG denoising approaches such as bandpass filtering, adaptive filtering, and waveletDenoising, over a wide range of ECG SNRs.

Elimination of electrocardiogram contamination from electromyogram signals: An evaluation of currently used removal techniques.

TL;DR: For muscle activation levels between 10% and 25% of maximum voluntary contraction, the template subtraction and BW filter with a 30 Hz cutoff were the two best methods for maximal ECG removal with minimal EMG distortion.

Methodological aspects of SEMG recordings for force estimation--a tutorial and review.

TL;DR: The problems associated with surface EMG in muscle force estimation are discussed and the solutions that novel methodological developments provide to this problem are discussed.

Bluetooth telemedicine Processor for multichannel biomedical signal transmission via mobile cellular networks

TL;DR: The paper focuses on the design of a processor, which samples signals from sensors on the patient, and transmits digital data over a Bluetooth link to a mobile telephone that uses the General Packet Radio Service.

An efficient ECG denoising methodology using empirical mode decomposition and adaptive switching mean filter

TL;DR: Qualitative and quantitative study and analysis indicate that the proposed technique can be used as an effective tool for denoising of ECG signals and hence can serve for better diagnostic in computer-based automated medical system.

Experimental study: brachial motion artifact reduction in the ECG

Shen Luo, +1 more
TL;DR: To prevent the ill-conditioning matrix in the RLS algorithm when the noise is very small, white noise to the auxiliary input is added and the experiment shows that this approach can significantly improve the condition of the matrix.
