Abstract
This is a preliminary report on a newly developed simple and practical procedure of statistical identification of predictors by using autoregressive models. The use of autoregressive representation of a stationary time series (or the innovations approach) in the analysis of time series has recently been attracting attentions of many research workers and it is expected that this time domain approach will give answers to many problems, such as the identification of noisy feedback systems, which could not be solved by the direct application of frequency domain approach [1], [2], [3], [9].

Introducing model uncertainty in time series bootstrap

TL;DR: Different ways of introducing the model selection step in the resampling algorithm are proposed and a Monte Carlo study is presented comparing the finite sample properties of the proposed method with those of alternative methods in the case of prediction intervals.

Defence spending and unemployment rates: An empirical analysis for the OECD

TL;DR: In this article, a three-equation model was used to test various economic hypotheses regarding the relationship between unemployment rate and defence spending in 18 OECD countries during the period 1962-1988.

ARMA order estimation via matrix perturbation theory

TL;DR: In this article, the smallest eigenvalue of the Hankel matrix is obtained based on the estimated covariances, under the hypothesis that the corresponding exact Hankel matrices possesses one single zero eigen value.

Inter-data-center network traffic prediction with elephant flows

TL;DR: This work proposes a model that significantly reduces the prediction errors in inter-DC traffic, and combines wavelet transform with artificial neural network (ANN) to improve prediction accuracy.

Phase I clinical and pharmacokinetic study of oral etoposide phosphate.

TL;DR: Although firm conclusions cannot be drawn, the F of oral etoposide phosphate seems to be comparable to or only slightly better than that of oral etoposide.
