In this article, the paraxial wave equation for stimulated scattering with a diffraction-free pump beam and obtained gain-guided Stokes modes as solutions were solved and demonstrated experimentally using stimulated Raman scattering in H 2 gas with a quasi-diffraction free Bessel pump beam.About:

Formation of Bessel beams with continuously variable cone angle
V. Vaičaitis,Sarunas Paulikas +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple device capable of producing Bessel beams with variable cone angle is proposed, which is shown that the cone angle of the Bessel beam produced by the axicone placed inside the telescope depends on the position of axicone and can be continuously varied.

Propagation of high-order circularly polarized Bessel beams and vortex generation in uniaxial crystals
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the generation and transformation of Bessel beams through linear and nonlinear optical crystals and demonstrate the principles experimentally in a uniaxial BBO crystal and find excellent agreement between ex-perimental and theoretical results.

Higher-order stimulated Brillouin scattering with nondiffracting beams.
I. Velchev,Wim Ubachs +1 more
TL;DR: Owing to the extended interaction length along the diffraction-free propagation, higher-order Stokes components are generated in a bulk Brillouin-active medium with odd and even orders propagating in opposite directions.

Realization of general nondiffracting beams with computer-generated holograms
TL;DR: This work shows by the method of stationary phase that any of these wave fields can be realized approximately with a laser and a single computer-generated hologram, and demonstrates experimentally the formation of arbitrary-order Bessel beams and rotationally nonsymmetric beams.
