Heuristic approaches to determine base-stock levels in a serial supply chain with a single objective and with multiple objectives

TLDR
Heuristics to obtain base-stock levels are proposed, and heuristic solutions are introduced in the initial population of the RKGGA to expedite the convergence of the genetic search process.

Robust supply chain network design with service level against disruptions and demand uncertainties: A real-life case

TL;DR: A stochastic mathematical formulation for designing a network of multi-product supply chains comprising several capacitated production facilities, distribution centres and retailers in markets under uncertainty and incorporates the cut-set concept in reliability theory and also the robust optimisation concept is developed.

Competitive supply chain network design: An overview of classifications, models, solution techniques and applications

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide a review of the competitive supply chain network design literature and highlight the effects of competitive environment on SCND, and develop a general framework for modeling the competitive SCND problems considering managerial insight and propose potential areas for future research.

Decision support for integrated refinery supply chains: Part 1. Dynamic simulation

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that a dynamic model of an integrated supply chain can serve as a valuable quantitative tool that aids in such decision-making in the management of supply chain activities.

A hybrid method of Pareto, TOPSIS and genetic algorithm to optimize multi-product multi-constraint inventory control systems with random fuzzy replenishments

TL;DR: This paper shows the model of the multi-periodic inventory control problem to be an integer-nonlinear-programming type and in order to solve it, a hybrid method of Pareto, TOPSIS and Genetic Algorithm approach is used.

Muiltiobjective optimization using nondominated sorting in genetic algorithms

TL;DR: Goldberg's notion of nondominated sorting in GAs along with a niche and speciation method to find multiple Pareto-optimal points simultaneously are investigated and suggested to be extended to higher dimensional and more difficult multiobjective problems.

A Fast Elitist Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm for Multi-objective Optimisation: NSGA-II

TL;DR: Simulation results on five difficult test problems show that the proposed NSGA-II, in most problems, is able to find much better spread of solutions and better convergence near the true Pareto-optimal front compared to PAES and SPEA--two other elitist multi-objective EAs which pay special attention towards creating a diverse Paretimal front.
