Do social skills mediate the relationship between ADHD and depression

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined whether social skills mediates the relationship between depression and ADHD and found that adolescents with ADHD have worse social skills and significantly higher odds of being diagnosed with depression and that social skills account for a significant part of the association between ADHD and depression.

TL;DR: Estimates of the lifetime prevalence of DSM-IV mental disorders with and without severe impairment, their comorbidity across broad classes of disorder, and their sociodemographic correlates are presented to provide the first prevalence data on a broad range of mental disorders in a nationally representative sample of U.S. adolescents.
