In this paper, the magnetization reversal process in specially prepared uniaxial thin films of nickel-iron alloy is studied by measurements of the 400 c.p.s. hysteresis loops.Abstract:
The magnetization reversal process in specially prepared uniaxial thin films of nickel—iron alloy is studied by measurements of the 400 c.p.s. hysteresis loops. The results indicate that both coherent rotation and domain wall motion can occur in the same film, but in different proportions according to the orientation of the anisotropy axis with respect to the applied field and the thickness of the film. Special properties of these films are discussed for fields applied normal to the anisotropy axis.read more

Partial Rotation in Permalloy Films
TL;DR: In this paper, the inversion of Permalloy films with different values of coercive force was studied and the hysteresis properties showed that ''inverted'' films do not represent a special case, but that every film exhibits inversion in a certain sector of field direction.

Magnetization creep in magnetic films
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of magnetization reversal in planar magnetic films was studied in slow-rising sinewave and pulsed hard-axis fields and the effective creep thresholds obtained for these cases were compared.

Preparation of Thin Magnetic Films and Their Properties
TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation of ferromagnetic alloys by vacuum evaporation of single thin layers and laminated structures of alloys is described, and the magnetic properties are related to those parameters of the process which may be chosen to yield materials having desired characteristics.

Magnetization Hysteresis Loop Tracer for Long Specimens of Extremely Small Cross Section
TL;DR: In this paper, an instrument for measurement of the low frequency magnetic properties of thin layers is described, where the difference signal from two opposed pick-up coils is amplified, integrated, and amplified again to cause the vertical deflection of a cathode-ray oscillograph to be proportional to the intensity of magnetization of the specimen.
