Narrow resonances at thresholds in light nuclei

TLDR
In this paper, it was shown that in channels with loosely bound fragments having minimal isospin, maximal channel spin and zero relative angular momentum narrow potential resonances may occur close to threshold.

Microscopically substantiated local optical potentials for scattering of light nuclei

TL;DR: In this paper, a potential approach to the scattering of light nuclei is analyzed in detail, showing that the deep optical potentials are essentially phase-equivalent local potentials for the tedious exchange kernels of the resonating-group method and lead, practically, to the same wave functions.

Elastic scattering of polarized protons on tritons between 4 and 12 MeV

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of the differential cross section and analyzing power for 3 H(p, p) 3 H has been carried out at 21 bombarding energies between 4.5 and 12 MeV. The results of this analysis are compared with those of other analyses, with theoretical predictions, with respect to the level structure of 4 He.

Analysis of reactions with polarized deuterons (II)

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived criteria for a simplified analysis of measurements with polarized deuterons and showed that at energies up to several MeV, deuteron reactions with light nuclei show pronounced resonances.

Calorimetric and Dielectric Investigations of MBBA (N-(p-methoxybenzylidene)-p-butylaniline) and HAB (4,4′ -di-n-heptyloxyazoxybenzene)

TL;DR: In this article, the results of calorimetric investigations of p-methoxybenzylidene-p-n-butylaniline (MBBA) and 4.4′-di-nheptyloxyazoxybenzinene (HAB) have been found to exist.

Resonating group calculations in light nuclear systems

TL;DR: The Resonating Group Method (RGM) as discussed by the authors was the first group-based approach to the problem of bounding a few body systems, and it has been used in many applications in physics.

Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Structure. IV. Wave Functions for the Nuclear p-Shell. Part B. $\langle $p$^{n}|$p$^{n-2}$p$^{2}\rangle $ Fractional Parentage Coefficients

TL;DR: In this paper, the totally antisymmetric states for the p-shell nuclei previously given (part IVA, Jahn & van Wieringen 1951) are transformed into the form of linear combinations for n - 2 particles vector-coupled to antisymmetric states of particles n and n - 1.

5Li resonances above the 3He-d threshold

TL;DR: In this paper, a soft core nucleon-nucleon potential is calculated using the refined cluster model and a quartet of S = 3 2, L = 2 3 He-d resonances is found in phase-shift and inelastic parameter curves.

A new excited level in 4He

TL;DR: In this article, a new level 1 -1, T = 0 is found in 4 He at 23.9 MeV, which is seen via an initial state interaction in the above reactions.

Description of nuclear reactions in the harmonic oscillator shell-model function scheme

TL;DR: In this paper, the Kohn variational principle is applied to the case that the two reaction partners in every channel are described in the harmonic oscillator shell model, and the Hamiltonian used in this theory is composed from the elementary nucleonnucleon interactions.
