TLDR
In this article, a planar liquid chromatographic technique using a pressurized ultramicro chamber (PUM chamber) has been developed, where the sorbent layer is completely covered by a membrane under external pressure, and the vapour phase above the layer is virtually eliminated.

Journal ArticleDOI

Implementations of two-dimensional liquid chromatography.

TL;DR: It is suggested that the combination LC(x)xLC(t) shows exceptional promise because it permits the simultaneous second-dimension separations of all the fractions separated in the first-dimension, thus providing remarkable time saving.
Journal ArticleDOI

Theoretical investigation of the potentialities of the use of a multidimensional column in chromatography

TL;DR: In this paper, it is shown that by merely keeping constant the solvent flow velocity during the development of a thin-layer plate, a considerable increase in the spot capacity can be achieved, since plate length and particle size can be selected without any prejudicial influence on the solvent velocity which can be kept constant at the value considered as optimum by the analyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chromatographic analysis of chemical warfare agents

TL;DR: It is concluded that chromatography is a very useful tool in the analysis of chemical warfare agents; GC and TLC have the most advantageous properties, HPLC being slightly inferior.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resolution and retention behaviour of some dyes in overpressured thin-layer chromatography

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of conventional and overpressured thin-layer chromatographic techniques was compared in different chamber systems (normal, ultramicro and pressurized chamber), on commercial normal and high-performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) silica gel plates.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Review: Sample Preparation and Chromatographic Technologies for Detection of Aflatoxins in Foods.

TL;DR: This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview on advances in aflatoxins analysis and highlights the importance of sample pretreatments, homogenization and various cleanup strategies used in the determination of a flatoxins.
