Preparation of highly conducting Al-doped ZnO target by vacuum heat-treatment for thin film solar cell applications

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that by performing the heat treatment in vacuum under a pressure of 10−2 mbar (low-vacuum heat-treatment), the electrical resistivity of the AZO target reached the lowest value compared to the other heat treatment conditions.

Role of Mn in biological, optical, and magnetic properties ZnO nano-particles

TL;DR: The properties of manganese-doped ZnO nano-particles fabricated by the sol-gel method were studied in this paper and the results showed that Mn2+ ions substituted Zn2+ ion without altering the wurtzite structure of ZnOs.

Optical properties and antibacterial activity of V doped ZnO used in solar cells and biomedical applications

TL;DR: In this article, vanadium doped ZnO dip coated thin films were studied by varying vanadium doping percentage between 1-9 W. The highest zone of inhibition against P. aeruginosa was found for 9% V while 7% V has least zone of inhibit for S. Aureus.
