The result of observation and interview with science teacher at SMPN 23 Banjarmasin shows that students do not use any books when learning at class. The learning progress run by teacher centered while the students just listening and take a notes from teacher explanation. Students also never doing experimental learning in laboratory or in the field. The aim of this research is to describe about valitidy, practicality, and effectivity of the integrated natural science module with local content in wetland environment as media development for science learning. Population of this research is 8th grades students of SMPN 23 Banjarmasin. The method of this research is Research and Development (RnD) method using development design plot by Tessmer. The research indicates that the integrated science module has 81.25 value of validity which is shows the module are valid to use for learning media. The practicality of the module is 91.75 which indicates the module are easy to use bothly the teacher and student. The effectivity of the module calculated with N-gain which get value 0.71, it means the module are effective as learning media to reach learning purposes. The module also gain value 59.41 of science process skills indicates the module can help students to learn about science process skills.

Using English as a medium of instruction provides linguistic benefits to the students. English which is used can elevate vocabulary, grammar and language functions of English. Besides, the students get  more chances to practice  writing, speaking, reading and listening during teaching and learning activities. Under this belief, the teachers are prescribed to be competent not only in content of subjects but also English. The teachers possession of  vocabulary, grammar, and language functions is a must.It is only with the clarity of English,  the teachers can help the students comprehend what the teachers feel think, instruct, command, describe, explain, clarify and so forth. This research project works with the identification of structural features and language function of English used by 3 selected Biology teachers of different Junior High Schools who are competent in English and the content of subject. This research is a qualitative design. Abstrak: Penggunaan Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat memberikan manfaat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa. Siswa mendapatkan pengetahuan tambahan  tentang kosa kata  dan kaidah bahasa Inggris dari materi atau referensi yang sedang dipelajari, bahasa inggris yang dipergunakan guru dan teman. Selain dua  manfaat tersebut kemampuan siswa membaca, berbicara,  menulis serta mendengarkan akan dilatih ketika mereka harus mengerjakan tugas-tugas gurunya seperti membuat laporan praktikum, berdikusi, tanya jawab dan mempresentasikan hasil kerjanya. This study aims to describe the game models that are used in learning and the effects of learning in elementary school in various bachelor degree theses of elementary school major in State University of Malang. This study uses a qualitative research approach with content-analysis based literature reviews. The target of this research is the thesis of bachelor degree students stored in the library of State University of Malang. Data collection techniques use documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively by using a meta-analysis that focused on the content of the thesis conducted with steps: description, reduction, and interpretation.

Implementation of Game-Based Learning in Elementary School: A Content-Analysis Study

Human resource development can be done by various step such as improvement of quality education especially model and learning methode. The Filling Subject is the important thing to increase the competitiveness of student at Vacational Hight School especialy Administration Department. Today teachers just have conventional methode to deliver their knowledge. Therefor student hard to understand the knowledge that delivered by teacher. Indonesia’s government have launced policy that called Making Indonesia 4.0 againts this global era. Blended Learning is one of the effective methode to deliver knowledge to students because this methode make student understand easily. Augmented Reality is one of the technology that can be collaborated with Blended Learning. This study purposed to create modul based on Augmented Reality as Blended Learning implementation in Filling Subject at Vocational Hight School Malang Regency. The study method modified from research and development models that called 4-D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). This study using quantitative dan qualitative data that collected from questionnaire. The questionnaire will be given to the material expert, the media expert and the students in Administration Departement at Vacational Hight School Malang Regency. The result of this study are: 1) product has been validate by the material expert of Filling Subject; 2) product has been validate by the media expert of Augmented Reality; 3) product has been implemented with Blended Learning Model to the Administration Departement Student in the Vacational Hight School Malang Recency and succeed to increase their competence in the Filling Subject. The implementation of Blended Learning for Augmented Reality suggested to be implemented in the other learning subject because it is very effective to increase the student competitiveness and make learning that done by teacher more easily.

Blended Learning for Augmented Reality to Increase Student Competitiveness the Filling Subject Toward Making Indonesia 4.0

This classroom action research was motivated by the existence of problems in the learning process of English, especially Listening learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the procedure for teaching English vocabulary to grade 2 elementary school students using a total physical response and to identify the advantages of using TPR in teaching English vocabulary. Based on the reality in the field, the writer found that in the process of learning English, especially listening to learning, students had difficulty using English. This classroom action research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Mayung, Cirebon Regency. The research subjects were class II students, as many as 24 people consisting of 13 boys and 11 girls. In analyzing the data, the writer used qualitative descriptive methods and simple quantitative measurements to find the research results. The data analysis showed that there was a significant difference in student achievement in the pre-test and post-test. Student achievement on the post-test (74.07%) was higher than that pre-test (37.07%). Average student achievement in the first cycle was 18.47% and 55.5% in the second cycle. The main factor that influenced this increase was the student's interest in the teaching and learning process through the Total Physical Response. Based on these data, the authors conclude that teaching English vocabulary with TPR is very beneficial for students in order to facilitate them in learning English vocabulary. TPR is recommended for teaching English vocabulary to teachers.
