The invention discloses a power counting and charging method with a private protection function in an intelligent power grid to mainly solve the problem that in the prior art, a power grid is complex in maintenance and expenses are large due to the fact that users enable identities to be anonymous through anonyms The power counting and charging method includes the steps that a user registers for an intelligent electric meter in the position of a server provider, a trusted third party assigns a group for the intelligent electric meter before the intelligent electric meter has access to the power grid and sends a group message to the service provider, the intelligent electric meter signs a signature through a group private key when sending power consumption, the service provider counts all validated power consumption, the intelligent electric meter sends the power consumption to the service provider after conducting homomorphic encryption on the electricity fee and signing the signature in the charging stage, the service provider stores the electricity fee of the same user through the fact that the group signature can be related, the electricity fee is checked through the service provider and the intelligent electric meter, and arbitration can be conducted through the trusted third party if disputing exists The power counting and charging method has the advantages of being reliable in procedure, capable of protecting privacy and good in safety performance, and is suitable for power counting and charging in the intelligent power grid
