Abstract
Along with the national promotion of energy-saving and pollution-reducing, energy information management level of power plant needs to be improved, and a kind of solution scheme based on the integration of management and control including automation technology, computer technology and network technology is urgently needed by power plant. In order to avoid the complexity of wiring in traditional wired network, ZigBee wireless technology which has obvious advantages is adopted. A kind of energy information monitoring system for power plant based on ZigBee wireless network which uses the ZigBee module. The overall design of the system is described and the overall structural diagram is given. The hardware design of ZigBee modules, the establishing flow of ZigBee wireless network, the establishing flow of ZigBee network topology structure and the communication flow of ZigBee devices are introduced in details. Furthermore, the corresponding flow charts are also given. Results of the whole system test show the unique application superiority of the ZigBee technology in terms of self-association, dynamic network topology and large network capacity in power plant energy information monitoring.
