Journal ArticleDOI

The Fermi Bubble as a Source of Cosmic Rays in the Energy Range >10 15 eV

TL;DR: The Fermi Large Area Telescope has recently discovered two giant gamma-ray bubbles that extend north and south of the Galactic center with diameters and heights of the order of H {approx} 10 kpc as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Singlet and triplet superfluid competition in a mixture of two-component Fermi and one-component dipolar Bose gases

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered a mixture of two-component Fermi and (one-component) dipolar Bose gases in which both dipolar interaction and $s$-wave scattering between fermions of opposite spins are tunable.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analytical approximate bound state solution of Schrödinger equation in D-dimensions with a new mixed class of potential for arbitrary ℓ-state via asymptotic iteration method

TL;DR: In this article, the bound state solutions of the D-dimensional Schrodinger equation for new mixed class of potential, V ( r ) = V 1 r 2 + V 2 e − α r r + V 3 c o t h α r+ V 4, are studied within the framework of the Pekeris approximation for any arbitrary l-state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Linear coupling of acoustic and cyclotron waves in plasma flows

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that in magnetized electrostatic plasma flows the velocity shear couples ion-acoustic waves with ion-cyclotron waves and leads, under favorable conditions, to their efficient reciprocal transformations.
ReportDOI

Methyl Quantum Tunneling and Nitrogen-14 NQR NMR Studies Using a SQUID Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer

TL;DR: In this article, a new spectrometer with a dc SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) detector, which has no such frequency dependence, has been developed.
