TL;DR: The authors found that teachers attributed the boys' failures to lack of motivation significantly more than they did the girls' failures, and that negative evaluation of girls' performance referred almost exclusively to intellectual inadequacies, whereas 45% of boys' work-related criticism referred to nonintellectual aspects.

TL;DR: Results indicated that prototype perception was related to risk behavior in both a reactive and a prospective manner, which meant that perceptions changed as a function of change in behavior, and perceptions predicted those behavior changes as well.
