Out of plane displacement measurement based on electronic speckle pattern interferometry

TL;DR: It is shown that this proposed method to measure out-of-plane displacement based on electronic speckle pattern interferometry is characterized by full field, non-contact, high accuracy, high sensitivity and non-special shock resistance and has the highest application value in the hologram of Speckle metrology.

Advances in Speckle Metrology

TL;DR: Different methods to process speckle fringes have made analysis equivalent to that of classical interferometry, yet can be applied to all types of real-world specimen, which has seen a surge in development in the past 10 years.

Non-destructive testing of an original XVI century painting on wood by ESPI system

TL;DR: In this article, an electronic chip pattern interference (ESPI) was employed for assessing the conservation state of a XVI century painting on wood (72x88x1,9 cm).

Measurement of Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio of metals by means of ESPI using a digital camera

TL;DR: In this paper, a low-cost interferometry set-up is presented for mechanical experiments with two planes of illumination, allowing the measurement of the two perpendicular in-plane displacement directions.

An image-shearing speckle-pattern interferometer for measuring bending moments

TL;DR: In this paper, a fringe system is obtained showing contours of constant slope resolved in the direction of image displacement, which is a comparison with result obtained by holographic interferometry.

Holographic and Video Techniques Applied to Engineering Measurement

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a coherent optical metrology approach based on speckle pattern interferometry with optical to electronic interfacing by means of a modified closed-circuit television arrangement.
