TLDR
In this paper, an error feedback compensator is introduced into the control signal to restrict high frequency oscillation, caused by the estimate error of unknown parameters, and the compensator was designed as a robust controller.

Aircraft wing rock oscillations suppression by simple adaptive control

TL;DR: A more complex and realistic model is employed, where interdependence between aircraft roll and sideslip motions and the limitations on the aileron deflection angle are explicitly taken into account at the stage of the controller design.

Acceleration autopilot for a guided spinning rocket via adaptive output feedback

TL;DR: A new method of synthesizing an acceleration autopilot for a guided spinning rocket, which is a class of uncertain, non-square multi-input/multi-output system, and it is shown to result in stable tracking in the presence of uncertainties.

Improved Adaptive Fault-Tolerant Control for a Quadruple-Tank Process with Actuator Faults

TL;DR: A modified output–feedback multivariable model reference adaptive control (MRAC) scheme is proposed for a valve-actuated quadruple-tank process with actuator faults, which leads to a faster smooth postfault transient response and less reference model tracking error.

Composite adaptive control of robot manipulators

TL;DR: A new class of adaptive robot controllers is proposed, the parameter adaptation of which is driven by both tracking error and prediction error, and a detailed analysis of these “composite” adaptive controllers is provided.
