Anionic Transition Metal Hydrides

TL;DR: A review of the anionic transition-metal hydrides can be found in this paper, where the X-ray diffraction study revealed a distorted octahedral disposition of ligands about Ru.
Journal ArticleDOI

X-ray diffraction studies of the influence of lattice effects on the metal carbonyl framework of the [Mo2(CO)10(μ-H)]− monoanion

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of lattice effects upon the anion's solid-state geometry was examined and it was shown that the [Mo 2 (CO) 10 (μ-H)] − anion can adopt either a linear, eclipsed ([Et 4 N] + salt) or an appreciably bent, staggered configuration with the degree of bending dictated by the choice of the cation.

A dinuclear Mo2H8 complex supported by bulky C5H2tBu3 ligands.

TL;DR: A dinuclear Mo2H8 complex supported by bulky C5H2tBu3 ligands is synthesized from the reaction of Cp‡MoCl4 with KC8 under H2 and the hydrides of complex 1 can be replaced with benzene at 60 °C to afford a μ-benzene complex C p‡2Mo2H2(μ-C6H6) (2).
