TLDR
Le fait de placer un benzylether dans un systeme cyclique semble retarder de facon importante l'hydrogenolyse par rapport aux analogues acycliques as mentioned in this paper.

Fluorescent indicators for cytosolic sodium.

TL;DR: Fluorescent indicators sensitive to cytosolic concentrations of free Na+ have been synthesized and characterized, resulting in effective dissociation constants for Na+ of about 20 mM against a background of 120 mM K+.

Luminescence Properties of Structurally Modified PPVs: PPV Derivatives Bearing 2-(4-tert-Butylphenyl)-5-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole Pendants

TL;DR: In this article, two PPV derivatives bearing 2-phenyl-5-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole pendants were prepared, and their photo-and electroluminescence properties were studied.

Iron-Catalyzed Carbometalation of Propargylic and Homopropargylic Alcohols

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Fe(III) salts are effective precatalysts for the carbometalation of alkynes through an unusual addition/cyclization reaction to generate cyclic dienes.

Acid Chloride Synthesis by the Palladium-Catalyzed Chlorocarbonylation of Aryl Bromides

TL;DR: A palladium-catalyzed method to synthesize acid chlorides by the chlorocarbonylation of aryl bromides is reported, which provides a useful method to assemble highly reactive Acid chlorides from stable and available reagents, and can be coupled with subsequent nucleophilic reactions to generate new classes of carbonylated products.

Synthesis of C-glycosylarenes by way of internal reactions of benzylated and benzoylated carbohydrate derivatives

TL;DR: The first examples of successful internal C-arylation in the pyranoid series were achieved from 2-O-(3-methoxybenzyl)-D- mannopyranosides; the 2- O-phenyl substituent was found to be much less reactive than the2-O-benZyl group in intramolecular Friedel-Crafts reactions of 2-o-substituted glycofuranosides.
