Switchable SAW filter, SAW-filter device and method of operating the same

TL;DR: In this paper, a weighted input converter unit (EW) with two partial tracks comprising two partial apertures is described. And independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a switchable filter device comprising a SAW filter; and (B) a method for operating a Saw filter switching between two different transfer functions.

Surface acoustic wave convolvers for spread-spectrum mobile and wireless communications

TL;DR: In this paper, surface acoustic wave (SAW) convolver types for use in real-time spread-spectrum code-division multiple access (CDMA) mobile and wireless communications in noisy electromagnetic environments.

Acoustic wavelength effects on the propagation of SAW on piezo-crystal and polymer substrates

TL;DR: In this article, the design, fabrication and characterization of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) delay lines on piezo-crystalline and polymer substrate is outlined. But due to the thin PVDF layer, the acoustic signal transverse downward beyond the thickness of the PVDF rendering the SAW devices non-operational.

Surface acoustic wave microfluidic device

TL;DR: In this paper, surface acoustic wave (SAW) was used to actuate a small droplet (from 2 to 20 µl) on planar surface of a piezoelectric substrate.
