Symptom reliability and hazard for systems condition monitoring

TLDR
In this paper, the authors defined the concept of symptom reliability for systems in use or in operation, which means that the reliability is based on symptoms of the systems under consideration, and proposed the symptom-dependent hazard functions for their use.

Multidimensional condition monitoring of machines in non-stationary operation

TL;DR: It is shown on some real example of vibration condition monitoring, that rescaling of symptoms can make more reliable the assessment of current system condition, as well as its prognosis.

Multidimensional condition monitoring of mechanical systems in operation

TL;DR: Full utilisation of SVD enables us to pass from multidimensional-non-orthogonalsymptom space, to orthogonal generalised fault space, of much reduced dimension, which seems to be important, as it can increase reliability of condition monitoring of critical systems in operation.
