TLDR
In this paper, the impact of knowledge management practices on performance was empirically tested through structural equation modelling. And the results show that knowledge management constructs (i.e., information technology, organisation and knowledge) positively affect organisational performance.Abstract:
Knowledge management is a process that transforms individual knowledge into organisational knowledge. The aim of this paper is to show that through creating, accumulating, organising and utilising knowledge, organisations can enhance organisational performance. The impact of knowledge management practices on performance was empirically tested through structural equation modelling. The sample included 329 companies both in Slovenia and Croatia with more than 50 employees. The results show that knowledge management constructs (i.e. information technology, organisation and knowledge) positively affect organisational performance.read more

The knowledge-creating company : how Japanese companies create the dynamics of innovation
TL;DR: In this article, Nonaka and Takeuchi argue that Japanese firms are successful precisely because they are innovative, because they create new knowledge and use it to produce successful products and technologies, and they reveal how Japanese companies translate tacit to explicit knowledge.

The Relationships among Human Resource Management Practices, Organizational Commitment, and Knowledge Management Processes: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the relationship between human resources management practices and organizational commitment and their relationship with knowledge management process, and found that human resources practices (recruitment methods, training and development, performance appraisals, and reward systems) have a significant influence on organizational commitment.

Expanding competitive advantage through organizational culture, knowledge sharing and organizational innovation
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the relationship between organizational culture, knowledge sharing, organizational innovation, and competitive advantage, and found that organizational culture fosters knowledge sharing and innovation activities among the workforce and links them with high-level business processes that could be conducive to acquiring advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Linkage between knowledge management and manufacturing performance: a structural equation modeling approach

TL;DR: The results showed that the constructs of knowledge resources, KM processes and KM factors have significant and direct effects on manufacturing performance and indicated that these three constructs were correlated with each other.

Organizational culture and knowledge management processes: case study in a public university
TL;DR: The results of the factor analysis used in this study suggest that adhocracy organizational culture, in which an organization is characterized by emphasis on individual initiative and employee empowerment, may not necessarily affect all knowledge management processes equally.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluate the use of goodness-of-fit indices for the assessment of the fit of structural equation models to data and assess their strengths and weaknesses, and discuss less biased estimates of goodness of fit and a relative normedfit index for testing fit of a structural model exclusive of the measurement model.
