TLDR
A fundamental result of the model of three-way decision from 0–1 tables to general information tables shows that there exist finitely many pairs of thresholds and an optimal tri-partition can be obtained according to weighted entropies of the finite tri- partitions.

Convex combination-based consensus analysis for intuitionistic fuzzy three-way group decision

TL;DR: This work proposes a convex combination-based approach to a three-way intuitionistic fuzzy group decision (3WIFGD) considering a group consensus, and theoretically proves that the GCI in this algorithm is improved and even converges linearly to “1” as the iteration number increases.

On three perspectives for deriving three-way decision with linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy information

TL;DR: In this article , the authors introduce linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (LIFNs) into loss functions due to LIFNs integrating the advantages of linguistic terms and intuitionistic numbers, and propose a single optimization model-based, threshold-determined method to derive three-way decision.

A novel approach of two-stage three-way co-opetition decision for crowdsourcing task allocation scheme

TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a two-stage co-opetition model by constructing novel three-way decision (TWD), including a competition-optimization model and a negotiation-cooperation model.

Rough set approach to incomplete information systems

TL;DR: This work proposes reduction of knowledge that eliminates only that information, which is not essential from the point of view of classification or decision making, and shows how to find decision rules directly from such an incomplete decision table.

Three-way decisions with probabilistic rough sets

TL;DR: This paper provides an analysis of three-way decision rules in the classical rough set model and the decision-theoretic rough set models, enriched by ideas from Bayesian decision theory and hypothesis testing in statistics.

The superiority of three-way decisions in probabilistic rough set models

TL;DR: It is shown that, under certain conditions when considering the costs of different types of miss-classifications, probabilistic three-way decisions are superior to the other two.

An Outline of a Theory of Three-Way Decisions

TL;DR: A theory of three-way decisions is constructed based on the notions of acceptance, rejection and noncommitment, an extension of the commonly used binary-decision model with an added third option.

Uncertainly measures of rough set prediction

TL;DR: This work presents three model selection criteria, using information theoretic entropy in the spirit of the minimum description length principle, based on the principle of indifference combined with the maximum entropy principle, thus keeping external model assumptions to a minimum.
