Tunable stimulated spin-flip magneto-Raman scattering with dielectric coated cavities

TLDR
In this article, a tunable infrared laser has been achieved using spin-flip magneto-Raman scattering in InSb. Dielectric coatings on the sides of the laser cavity gave the unexpected result of enhancing the collinear output up to a value of 10 W-a conversion efficiency approximately 1%.

Spin magnetic moment and spin resonance of conduction electrons in α‐Sn‐type semiconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic energy levels in a symmetry-induced zero-gap semiconductor of α-sn-type are calculated in the three-level model and an analytical expression for the g-factor of conduction electrons is derived and shown to be in good agreement with existing experimental data.

HIGH‐INTENSITY TUNABLE InSb SPIN‐FLIP RAMAN LASER

TL;DR: In this article, the output of a spin-flip Raman scattering with peak power as high as ∼ 1 kW has been obtained from n-type InSb (n ≃ 2 × 1016 cm−3) pumped with 10.6μ radiation from a pulsed high-pressure CO2 laser.

Stimulated spin-flip Raman scattering: a magnetically tunable infrared laser. I

TL;DR: In this paper, a spin-flip Raman scattering from conduction electrons in semiconductors has been set out both in terms of appropriate general scattering theory and of detailed calculation of the electron band states of a solid in a magnetic field.

Tunable Coherent Radiation Source in the 5‐μ Region

TL;DR: A tunable coherent radiation source in the 5μ region was obtained by mixing a spin-flip Raman (SFR) laser with a 10.6μ TEA laser as mentioned in this paper.

Tunable Stimulated Raman Scattering from Conduction Electrons in InSb

TL;DR: In this article, a tunable stimulated Raman scattering from the spin-flip process of conduction electrons in InSb was observed, with the C${\mathrm{O}}_{2}$ laser at 10.6 \ensuremath{\mu} as the pump.

Raman Scattering by Carriers in Landau Levels

Y. Yafet
- 09 Dec 1966 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the cross sections for Raman scattering by electrons and holes in a semiconductor subjected to a magnetic field are calculated, and a number of processes in which the Landau level number changes by ε-ensuremath{n=2}n = 2, as well as a spin-flip process with εn=0, are considered.
