It is found that universality-breaking effects increase quadratically with the heavy Majorana neutrino mass and may be observed in the current experiments at the CERN [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]] collider LEP.
Abstract
We analyze the possibility of universality violation in diagonal leptonic decays of the [ital Z] boson, in the context of interfamily seesaw'' models. In a minimal extension of the standard model with right-handed neutrino fields, we find that universality-breaking effects increase quadratically with the heavy Majorana neutrino mass and may be observed in the current experiments at the CERN [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]] collider LEP.

Resonant Leptogenesis

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the scenario of thermal leptogenesis in which the leptonic asymmetries are resonantly enhanced through the mixing of nearly degenerate heavy Majorana neutrinos that have mass differences comparable to their decay widths.

Electroweak-scale resonant leptogenesis

TL;DR: In this article, minimal scenarios of resonant leptogenesis near the electroweak phase transition are studied, and the effects from single lepton flavors become very important in variants of lepton-to-baryon conversion of an individual lepton number, for example, that of the {tau}-lepton.

Flavour-violating charged lepton decays in seesaw-type models

TL;DR: In this article, analytic expressions of lepton-flavour-and leptonnumber-violating decays of charged leptons are derived in the context of general SU(2)L ⊗ U(1)Y seesaw scenarios that are motivated by grand unified theories (GUT's) or superstring models, in which left-handed and/or right-handed neutral singlets are present.

Heavy Majorana Neutrinos and Baryogenesis

TL;DR: In this paper, the scenario of baryogenesis through leptogenesis is reviewed in models involving heavy Majorana neutrinos, and various mechanisms of CP violation occurring in the out-of-equilibrium lepton-number-violating decays of heavy majorana neutrons are studied within a resummation approach to unstable-particle mixing.

Non-decoupling of heavy neutrinos and lepton flavour violation

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered a class of models predicting new heavy neutral fermionic states, whose mixing with the light neutrinos can be naturally significant and produce observable effects below the threshold for their production.
