Rianita van Onselen,T.G. Downing +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single dose of 5 mg kg-1 reserpine administered subcutaneously to neonatal rats on postnatal day 3 leads to widespread neuronal loss in various brain regions including the substantia nigra pars compacta, ventral tegmental area, striatum, hippocampus, locus coeruleus, amygdala and cerebral cortex.
