SMS messages are small, expensive, and slow, but they utilize a closed network, between devices—phones—that are nearly ubiquitous and authenticate with the network operator.
This habit brings about devices’ receiving sync messages, which can be utilized to correlate devices.
For example, such synchronization can provide networked devices with a common temporal reference necessary for coordinating actions or decoding transmitted messages.
This paper proposes an algorithm to increase the connectivity by collaborating consumer devices to share access information messages.

We show that, with this type of devices, a receiver can create device radio finger-prints and subsequently identify origins of messages exchanged between the devices, even if message contents and device identifiers are hidden.
Developers of anesthesia communication systems need to measure latencies of proposed communication pathways and devices used to deliver urgent messages to mobile users.
The proposed method allows several binary messages to be transmitted simultaneously by just one transmitted chaotic signal, provided that outputs of different units are uncorrelated.
Rassler's system, Lorenz system, Henon map, and Lozi map can achieve their applications on asymptotical synchronization and recovering messages in secure communication by using either the fuzzy driving signal or the crisp driving signal.
The proposed approach avoids dedicated and expensive devices, which are used for the synchronisation between beacon and anchor nodes, to compute the time-of-flight of the signal.

In addition, we present several methods that prompt passing devices to send additional messages, increasing detection rates an use signal-strength for improved accuracy.
