TL;DR: Four compounds, including two novel macrolides, were isolated from an endophyte Streptomyces sp.
Abstract: Four compounds, including two novel macrolides, were isolated from an endophyteStreptomyces sp. Is9131 ofMaytenus hookeri. Spectral data indicated that these compounds were dimeric dinactin (1), dimeric nonactin (2), cyclo-homononactic acid (3), and cyclo-nonactic acid (4). Bioassay results showed that dimeric dinactin had strong antineoplastic activity and antibacterial activity.

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of the determination of mean activity coefficients for NH4Cl in ternary (NH4Cl(m1) + LiCl (m2) + H2O) electrolyte system by potentiometric method at 25°C were obtained by combining a solvent polymeric (PVC) ammonium-selective membrane electrode (NH 4 + ISE), containing a mixture of nonactin/monactin as ionophore, and an Ag|AgCl electrode.

TL;DR: Heterologous expression of the tetranactin resistance gene nonR in E. coli gave a his6-tagged protein that catalyzed the stereoselective hydrolysis of the chiral macrotetrolide antibiotic nonactin into equivalent, chiral, inactive nonactate dimer species.
Abstract: Heterologous expression of the tetranactin resistance gene nonR in E. coli gave a his6-tagged protein that catalyzed the stereoselective hydrolysis of the chiral macrotetrolide antibiotic nonactin into equivalent, chiral, inactive nonactate dimer species. No trimeric nonactate was produced in the reaction.
