TL;DR: The psychotropically active principles of the Mexican hallucinogenic fungus Psilocybe maxicana HEIM have been isolated and obtained in crystalline form and are present in the fruit bodies, the artificially cultivated mycelium and in the sclerotia.
Journal ArticleDOI
42. Mitteilung über Mutterkornalkaloide
TL;DR: By selection of certain strains of the ergot fungus found on Pennisetum typhoideum Rich (a tropical millet) and modifying the substrate, this article succeeded in increasing the alkaloid yield in saprophytic cultures up to 1000-1500 mg alkaloids per liter of culture filtrate and increasing the mycelium to 1% of its dry weight.
Journal ArticleDOI
H. Kobel,R. Brunner,A. Brack +2 more
TL;DR: Three monoconidial strains ofClaviceps purpurea were grown parasitically on rye and saprophytically on a nutrient medium and the qualitative alkaloid spectra were nearly identical in the sclerotia and in the corresponding sa Prophytic cultures, while the quantitative distribution of some of the alkaloids differed considerably.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mikrobiologische Hydroxylierungen an Mutterkornalkaloiden vom Clavin‐Typus mit dem mexikanischen Rauschpilz Psilocybe semperviva HEIMet CAILLEUX. 52. Mitteilung über Mutterkornalkaloide
A. Brack,R. Brunner,H. Kobel +2 more
