TL;DR: This review describes the scope of the VAMDC project and provides a survey of the atomic and molecular data sets that will be included plus a discussion of how they will be integrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
EUV spectra of Gd and Tb ions excited in laser-produced and vacuum spark plasmas
TL;DR: In this paper, the Hartree-Fock calculations using Cowan code were used to identify the most intense lines of the 4d104f2−4d94fm+1 transitions in the Gd XVII and Tb XVIII spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rare-earth elements in the atmosphere of the magnetic chemically peculiar star HD 144897 , New classification of the Nd III spectrum
TL;DR: In this article, the spectral lines of a slowly rotating strongly magnetic Ap star, HD 144897, have been analyzed for the first time from the lines of the first and second rare-earth elements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analyses of the Sn IX–Sn XII spectra in the EUV region
S S Churilov,A N Ryabtsev +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Sn IX-Sn XII spectra excited in a vacuum spark have been analyzed in the 130-160 A wavelength region, based on the energy parameter extrapolation in the isonuclear Sn VI-VIII and Sn XIII-XIV sequence.
Journal ArticleDOI
NLTE ionization equilibrium of Nd II and Nd III in cool A and Ap stars
TL;DR: In this article, the formation of NdII-III lines in the atmospheres of A-type stars with a comprehensive atomic model was investigated, and strong evidence was found for the existence of enhanced Nd abundance layers above log τ 5000 = -3.5.
