Journal ArticleDOI
Unexpected diversity and novel features within a family of new azide-bridged MnII complexes of pyridyl/imine ligands
Tapan K. Karmakar,Guillem Aromí,Barindra Kumar Ghosh,A. Usman,Hoong-Kun Fun,Talal Mallah,U. Behrens,Xavier Solans,Swapan K. Chandra,Swapan K. Chandra +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a family of tetradentate ligands, which differ only in the number of CH2 groups separating two pyridyl/imine moieties, has been prepared.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, crystal structure and magnetic properties of a mononuclear and a ferromagnetically coupled dinuclear nickel(II) complex derived from a hexadentate Schiff base ligand
Sushama Sain,Soumitra Bid,A. Usman,Hoong-Kun Fun,Guillem Aromí,Xavier Solans,Swapan K. Chandra +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a hexadentate Schiff base ligand, L, prepared from the reaction of 2-benzoylpyridine with N, N ′-bis-(3-aminopropyl) ethylenediamine in the 2:1 molar ratio is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bis(μ-N-methyl-N-phenyldithiocarbamato)[bis(N-methyl-N-phenyldithiocarbamato)zinc(II)]
Ibrahim Baba,Lay Hoon Lee,Yang Farina,A. Hamid Othman,Abdul Razak Ibrahim,A. Usman,Hoong-Kun Fun,Seik Weng Ng +7 more
TL;DR: The Zn atom in the centrosymmetric title compound, [Zn2(C8H8NS2)4], is almost symmetrically coordinated by one terminal bidentate N-phenyl-N-methyl-di-thio-carbamate ligand.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tris(N-butyl-N-ethyldithiocarbamato)bismuth(III)
Ibrahim Baba,Kassim Karimah,Yang Farina,Abdul Hamid Othman,Abdul Razak Ibrahim,A. Usman,Hoong-Kun Fun,Seik Weng Ng +7 more
TL;DR: The Bi atom in the title compound, [Bi(C7H14NS2)3], is coordinated by six S atoms from three bidentate N-butyl-N-ethyl-di-thio-carbamate ligands; it is also engaged in an additional Bi⋯S interaction which links two tris(Nbutyl N-ethyl di-thia carbamato) fragments into centrosymmetric binuclear dimers.
