TL;DR: It is found that DBS targeted at the nucleus accumbens (NAc) normalized NAc activity, reduced excessive connectivity between the NAc and prefrontal cortex, and decreased frontal low-frequency oscillations during symptom provocation in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Clinical feasibility study for the use of implanted gold seeds in the prostate as reliable positioning markers during megavoltage irradiation

TL;DR: The fiducial gold seeds are a safe and appropriate device to verify and correct the position of prostate during megavoltage irradiation of prostate carcinoma and are found to be far below the present tumour delineation accuracy.
