MDM4 inhibition: a novel therapeutic strategy to reactivate p53 in hepatoblastoma.
Sarah E. Woodfield,Yan Shi,Roma H. Patel,Zhenghu Chen,Aayushi P. Shah,Rohit Kumar Srivastava,Richard S. Whitlock,Aryana M. Ibarra,Samuel R. Larson,Stephen F. Sarabia,Andrew Badachhape,Zbigniew Starosolski,Ketan B. Ghaghada,Pavel Sumazin,D. Allen Annis,Dolores Lopez-Terrada,Sanjeev A. Vasudevan +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the p53 regulator Murine double minute 4 (MDM4) was used to reactivate p53 signaling in a murine model of Hepatoblastoma (HB) patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combination microRNA-based cellular reprogramming with paclitaxel enhances therapeutic efficacy in a relapsed and multidrug-resistant model of epithelial ovarian cancer
TL;DR: In this paper , a hyaluronic acid (HA)-based nanoparticle formulation is used to deliver Let7b miRNA mimic to tumor cells and achieve cellular programming both in vitro and in vivo.
Posted ContentDOI
HepT1-derived murine models of high-risk hepatoblastoma display vascular invasion, metastasis, and circulating tumor cells
Sarah E. Woodfield,Brandon Mistretta,Roma H. Patel,Aryana M. Ibarra,Kevin E. Fisher,Stephen F. Sarabia,Ilavarasi Gandhi,Jacquelyn Reuther,Zbigniew Starosolski,Andrew Badachhape,Aayushi P. Shah,Larson,Rohit Kumar Srivastava,Yang Shi,Richard S. Whitlock,Holloway K,Angshumoy Roy,Ketan B. Ghaghada,Dolores Lopez-Terrada,Preethi H. Gunaratne,Sanjeev A. Vasudevan +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed and thoroughly characterized several unique models of hepatoblastoma derived from the HepT1 cell line that show high-risk features including multifocal tumors, vascular invasion, metastasis, and circulating tumor cells (CTCs).
Journal ArticleDOI
Surgical Resection for Pediatric Synovial Sarcoma: What Margin Is Adequate?
Andres F. Espinoza,Hannah Todd,E N Castro,Aayushi P. Shah,Saiabhiroop R. Govindu,Sanjeev A. Vasudevan +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a retrospective chart review showed 22 patients with synovial sarcoma from September 2011 to November 2019 at Texas Children's Hospital had a median resection margin of 1.5 mm (IQR 1 to 27mm). Positive microscopic margins were noted in 71% (5/7) of the patients who died compared with 12% (2/16) of patients who survived.
Posted ContentDOI
IntS6 and the Integrator phosphatase module tune the efficiency of select premature transcription termination events
Rina Fujiwara,Si-Nan Zhai,Dongming Liang,Matthew Tracey,Xu-Kai Ma,Aayushi P. Shah,Christopher J. Fields,María Saraí Mendoza-Figueroa,Michele C. Meline,Deirdre C. Tatomer,Li Yang,Jeremy E. Wilusz +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors show that over-expression of IntS6 subunit 6 is sufficient to block Integrator function at a subset of Drosophila protein-coding genes, while having no effect on snRNA processing or attenuation of other loci.
