Journal ArticleDOI

Origin of Unusual Excitonic Absorption and Emission from Colloidal Ag2S Nanocrystals: Ultrafast Photophysics and Solar Cell.

TL;DR: It is found that the defect-related midgap transitions overlap with excitonic transition, blurring the absorption spectrum, and nearly defect-free Ag2S NCs are prepared using molecular precursors, which exhibit sharp exciton absorption, emission, and improved performance of Ag1S quantum-dot-sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs).
Journal ArticleDOI

Ligand Engineering to Improve the Luminance Efficiency of CsPbBr3 Nanocrystal Based Light-Emitting Diodes

TL;DR: In this paper, a perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) using high-quality green emissive colloidal CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) of size 11 ± 0.7 nm was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

CsPbBr3–Ti3C2Tx MXene QD/QD Heterojunction: Photoluminescence Quenching, Charge Transfer, and Cd Ion Sensing Application

TL;DR: A Van der Waal heterostructure between the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 halide perovskite quantum dots (CPB QDs) and Ti3C2Tx MXene (MXN) is realized and the photo-physics of the composite is examined in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Organic-free colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals as luminescent sensors for metal ions and nitroaromatic explosives

TL;DR: A similar organic-free colloidal semiconductor nanocrystal shows luminescence turn-off sensing for 2,4,6-trinitrophenol, a known explosive.
