Fall injuries in Baghdad from 2003 to 2014: results of a randomised household cluster survey

TL;DR: Falling was the most common cause of civilian injury in Baghdad and many injuries resulted in life-limiting disabilities, and households shouldered much of the burden after fall injury due to loss of income and/or medical expenditure, often resulting in food insecurity.

Average-case analysis for combinatorial problems

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider the average case analysis of algorithms, focusing primarily on NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems, and present a catalog of distributions frequently used in average-case analysis and a collection of mathematical tools that have been useful in studying these distributions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clustering with shallow trees

TL;DR: In this article, a message-passing method was proposed for hierarchical clustering based on the optimization of a cost function over trees of limited depth, and a messagepassing algorithm was derived to use it efficiently.
