ExoMol line lists – VIII. A variationally computed line list for hot formaldehyde
TL;DR: In this article, an empirical potential energy and ab initio dipole moment surfaces are used as the input to the nuclear motion program TROVE, which contains 10.3 million rotational-vibrational states and around 10 billion transition frequencies.
Journal ArticleDOI
ARES I: WASP-76 b, A Tale of Two HST Spectra
Billy Edwards,Quentin Changeat,Robin Baeyens,Angelos Tsiaras,Ahmed Al-Refaie,Jake Taylor,Kai Hou Yip,Michelle Fabienne Bieger,Doriann Blain,Amélie Gressier,Amélie Gressier,Amélie Gressier,Gloria Guilluy,Adam Yassin Jaziri,Flavien Kiefer,Darius Modirrousta-Galian,Darius Modirrousta-Galian,Mario Morvan,Lorenzo V. Mugnai,William Pluriel,Mathilde Poveda,Nour Skaf,Niall Whiteford,Sam Wright,Tiziano Zingales,Benjamin Charnay,Pierre Drossart,Jérémy Leconte,Olivia Venot,Ingo Waldmann,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu +31 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the transmission and emission spectra of the ultra-hot Jupiter WASP-76 b, observed with the G141 grism of the Hubble Space Telescope's (HST) Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3).
Journal ArticleDOI
ARES. II. Characterizing the Hot Jupiters WASP-127 b, WASP-79 b, and WASP-62b with the Hubble Space Telescope
Nour Skaf,Michelle Fabienne Bieger,Billy Edwards,Quentin Changeat,Mario Morvan,Flavien Kiefer,Doriann Blain,Tiziano Zingales,Mathilde Poveda,Ahmed Al-Refaie,Robin Baeyens,Amélie Gressier,Gloria Guilluy,Adam Yassin Jaziri,Darius Modirrousta-Galian,Lorenzo V. Mugnai,William Pluriel,Niall Whiteford,Sam Wright,Kai Hou Yip,Benjamin Charnay,Jérémy Leconte,Pierre Drossart,Angelos Tsiaras,Olivia Venot,Ingo Waldmann,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu +27 more
TL;DR: In this article, the atmospheric characterization of three large, gaseous planets: WASP-127 b, WASP79 b, and WASP62 b was performed using spectroscopic data obtained with the G141 grism (1.088 −1.68 μm).
Journal ArticleDOI
TauREx III: A fast, dynamic and extendable framework for retrievals
TL;DR: This work achieves dynamic determination of fitting parameters, whereby TauREx 3 can detect new parameters for retrieval from user code through a simple interface, with a sixfold reduction in retrieval times while maintaining robust results.
Journal ArticleDOI
The ExoMolOP database: Cross sections and k-tables for molecules of interest in high-temperature exoplanet atmospheres
Katy L. Chubb,Katy L. Chubb,Marco Rocchetto,Sergei N. Yurchenko,Michiel Min,Ingo Waldmann,Joanna K. Barstow,Paul Mollière,Ahmed Al-Refaie,Mark W. Phillips,Jonathan Tennyson +10 more
TL;DR: The ExoMolOP database as mentioned in this paper is a publicly available database of opacities for molecules of astrophysical interest that has been compiled for over 80 species, and is based on the latest line list data from the EXOMol, HITEMP, and MoLLIST databases.
