Cassane diterpenoids from lonchocarpus laxiflorus

TL;DR: In this article, the stem bark of Lonchocarpus laxiflorus yielded three new cassane diterpenoids, lonchocassane A [cassa-13 (14), 15-dien-18, 20-dioic acid], llonchocASSane B [cASSa-14, 15-den-20-oxo-18-oic acid] and lonchemassane C[cASSA-13, 14].
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolation and characterization of pyropheophorbide-a from moringa oleifera lam

TL;DR: In this article, the phytochemical constituents of Moringa oleifera leaf extracts were investigated and the structures of isolated compounds were identified using NMR, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) and comparison with published data.
Book ChapterDOI

Transformed Root Cultures of Solanum dulcamara L.: A Model for Studying Production of Secondary Metabolites

TL;DR: Several Solanum species including S. dulcamara could be of interest for commercial growing due to its other qualities like fair cold hardiness, good growth on poor soils and perennial life cycle, if this steroidal alkaloids content could be boosted by manipulation.
Journal ArticleDOI

ent-12-Oxolabda-8,13(16)-dien-15-oic Acid and ent-8β,12α- Epidioxy-12β-hydroxylabda-9(11),13-dien-15-oic Acid γ- Lactone: Two New Diterpenes from the Aerial Parts of Premna oligotricha

TL;DR: In this paper, ent-labdane diterpenes have been isolated from the aerial parts of Premna oligotricha (Verbenaceae) through NMR studies, one was identified as ent-12-oxolabda-8,3(16)dien-15-oic acid.
