Formation and thermal stability of copper and nickel nitrides
Alfons Baiker,Marek Maciejewski +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the formation and thermal stability of copper nitride and nickel nitride have been studied by thermoanalytical methods, showing that copper is stable at temperatures < 600 K in both nitrogen and ammonia atmospheres.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gold supported on Cu–Mg–Al and Cu–Ce mixed oxides: An in situ XANES study on the state of Au during aerobic alcohol oxidation
TL;DR: In this paper, liquid phase in situ XANES experiments were used to elucidate the oxidation state of differently supported Au catalysts during the selective oxidation of 1-phenylethanol with molecular oxygen.
Journal ArticleDOI
Heterogeneous enantioselective hydrogenation of 2-pyrones over cinchona-modified palladium
TL;DR: Asymmetric hydrogenation of 4-alkoxy and 4-methyl derivatives of 2-pyrones to the corresponding dihydro- or tetrahydropyrones over cinchona-modified Pd/TiO2 is fast under ambient conditions and affords good yields and high ee as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Partial oxidation of methane to methanol in a flow reactor at elevated pressure
Daniel W. Rytz,Alfons Baiker +1 more
Journal ArticleDOI
A green pathway for hydrogenations on ionic liquid-stabilized nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this paper, a green pathway for solventless noble metal-catalyzed hydrogenations was proposed using ionic liquid and supercritical CO 2 extraction for the removal of the metal precursor ligands in the catalyst synthesis step and for the separation of the hydrogenation products.
