Journal ArticleDOI

Selective catalytic reduction of nitric oxide over vanadia grafted on titania. Influence of vanadia loading on structural and catalytic properties of catalysts

TL;DR: In this article, the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO by NH3 has been studied over vanadia/ titania catalysts prepared by selective immobilization of vanadyl alkoxide species on two structurally different titania supports.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of 1,4-Diaminocyclohexane in Supercritical Ammonia

TL;DR: In this paper, the amination of 1,4-cyclohexanediol in supercritical ammonia has been studied in a continuous fixed-bed reactor at 135 bar, where an unsupported cobalt catalyst stabilized by 5 wt% Fe afforded the main reaction products 4-aminocyclohexanol and 1, 4-diaminocycloehexane with a cumulative selectivity of 97% at 76% conversion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Oxidation of Alcohols with Molecular Oxygen on Platinum Metal Catalysts in Aqueous Solutions

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the application of biand multi-metallic catalysts in the aqueous phase oxidation of alcohols with molecular oxygen is presented, focusing on the transformation of primary alcohols to aldehydes or carboxylic acids.
Journal ArticleDOI

Strongly enhanced acidity and activity of amorphous silica–alumina by formation of pentacoordinated AlV species

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors employed xylene as the solvent in a flame-spray pyrolysis process to synthesize AlV-rich amorphous silica-alumina (ASA).
Journal ArticleDOI

Continuous enantioselective hydrogenation in fixed-bed reactor: towards process intensification

TL;DR: In this article, the platinum-catalyzed enanti-lective hydrogenation of ethyl pyruvate (EP) was studied in a continuous fixed-bed reactor working under trickle bed conditions.
