John H. Stone,Matthew J. Frigault,Naomi Serling-Boyd,Ana D. Fernandes,Liam Harvey,Andrea S. Foulkes,Nora Horick,Brian C. Healy,Ruta Shah,Ana Maria Bensaci,Ann E. Woolley,Sarah Nikiforow,Nina Lin,Manish Sagar,Harry M Schrager,David S. Huckins,Matthew Axelrod,Michael D. Pincus,Jorge Fleisher,Chana A. Sacks,Michael Dougan,Crystal M. North,Yuan Di C. Halvorsen,Tara K. Thurber,Zeina Dagher,Allison K. Scherer,Rachel Wallwork,Arthur Y. Kim,Sara R. Schoenfeld,Pritha Sen,Tomas G. Neilan,Cory A. Perugino,Sebastian Unizony,Deborah S. Collier,Mark Matza,Janeth Yinh,Kathryn Bowman,Eric A. Meyerowitz,Amna Zafar,Zsofia D. Drobni,Marcy B. Bolster,Minna J. Kohler,Kristin M. D’Silva,Jonathan Dau,Megan Lockwood,Caroline Cubbison,Brittany Weber,Michael K. Mansour +47 more
TL;DR: Tocilizumab was not effective for preventing intubation or death in moderately ill hospitalized patients with Covid-19, and some benefit or harm cannot be ruled out, however, because the confidence intervals for efficacy comparisons were wide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Association Between Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors with Cardiovascular Events and Atherosclerotic Plaque.
Zsofia D. Drobni,Zsofia D. Drobni,Raza M. Alvi,Jana Taron,Amna Zafar,Sean P. Murphy,Paula K. Rambarat,Rayma C. Mosarla,Charlotte E. Lee,Daniel A. Zlotoff,Vineet K. Raghu,Sarah Hartmann,Hannah K Gilman,Jingyi Gong,Leyre Zubiri,Ryan J. Sullivan,Kerry L. Reynolds,Thomas Mayrhofer,Lili Zhang,Udo Hoffmann,Tomas G. Neilan +20 more
TL;DR: Cardiovascular events were higher after initiation of ICIs, potentially mediated by accelerated progression of atherosclerosis and increased atherosclerotic plaque progression was attenuated with concomitant use of statins or corticosteroids.
Journal ArticleDOI
Myocardial T1 and T2 Mapping by Magnetic Resonance in Patients With Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor-Associated Myocarditis.
Paaladinesh Thavendiranathan,Lili Zhang,Amna Zafar,Zsofia D. Drobni,Syed S. Mahmood,Marcella Cabral,Magid Awadalla,Anju Nohria,Daniel A. Zlotoff,Franck Thuny,Lucie Heinzerling,Ana Barac,Ryan J. Neilan +44 more
TL;DR: The use of T1 mapping and application of the modified Lake Louise Criteria provides important diagnostic value, and T 1 mapping provides prognostic value in patients with ICI myocarditis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Decreased Absolute Lymphocyte Count and Increased Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Ratio With Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor-Associated Myocarditis.
Zsofia D. Drobni,Zsofia D. Drobni,Amna Zafar,Leyre Zubiri,Daniel A. Zlotoff,Raza M. Alvi,Charlotte E. Lee,Sarah Hartmann,Hannah K Gilman,Alexandra-Chloé Villani,Anju Nohria,John D. Groarke,Ryan J. Sullivan,Kerry L. Reynolds,Lili Zhang,Tomas G. Neilan +15 more
TL;DR: A reduction in ALC and an increase in NLR was seen with ICI myocarditis and a greater decrease or increase inNLR was associated with subsequent major adverse cardiac events.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrocardiographic features of immune checkpoint inhibitor associated myocarditis.
Daniel A. Zlotoff,Malek Z.O. Hassan,Amna Zafar,Raza M. Alvi,Magid Awadalla,Syed S. Mahmood,Lili Zhang,Carol L. Chen,Stéphane Ederhy,Ana Barac,Dahlia Banerji,Maeve Jones-O'Connor,Sean P. Tocchetti,Sarah Hartmann,Hannah K Gilman,Eduardo Zatarain-Nicolás,Michael Mahmoudi,Dipti Gupta,Ryan J. Sullivan,Sarju Ganatra,Eric H. Yang,Lucie Heinzerling,Franck Thuny,Leyre Zubiri,Kerry L. Reynolds,Justine V. Cohen,Alexander R. Lyon,John D. Groarke,Paaladinesh Thavendiranathan,Anju Nohria,Michael G. Fradley,Tomas G. Neilan +39 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors found that the QRS duration is increased in ICI myocarditis and is associated with increased MACE risk, and the association between ECG values and major adverse cardiac events (MACE) was also tested.
