TL;DR: The authors investigated which shocks trigger which coping responses and why and found clear differences in terms of coping strategies across shock types, that is, economic and natural shocks are more likely to trigger reductions in savings and in food consumption while the sale of assets and borrowing is less common.

Dropping out of Ethiopia's community-based health insurance scheme
TL;DR: Analysis of longitudinal household survey data gathered in 2012 and 2013 to examine dropout in the case of Ethiopia's pilot CBHI scheme shows that socioeconomic status, a greater understanding of health insurance and experience with and knowledge of theCBHI scheme are associated with lower dropout rates.

TL;DR: Both the availability of equipment and waiting time to see medical professionals substantially influences enrollment, and almost all insured households want to renew and majority of uninsured want to enroll.
