Proceedings ArticleDOI

Investigating corneal properties through temporal decorrelation in OCT images (Conference Presentation)

TL;DR: In this paper , the cause of dynamic light scattering (DLS) in the cornea was determined by comparing the scattering signal under different conditions, and the conclusions drawn from these studies informed the use of OCT-based DLS measurements for corneal assessment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phase-Decorrelation Optical Coherence Tomography Measurement of Cold-Induced Nuclear Cataract

TL;DR: In this article , the sensitivity of phase-decorrelation optical coherence tomography (OCT) to protein aggregation associated with cataracts in the ocular lens, as compared to OCT signal intensity was determined.
Reference EntryDOI

Genetic Maps: Integration

TL;DR: The presence of recombination hot and cold spots has a bearing on efforts to map disease genes and for the understanding of the biological properties of chromosome location.

A CHO mutant, UV40, that is sensitive to diverse mutagens and represents a new complementation sensitivity group of mitomycin C

TL;DR: A new mitomycin C (MM(Z)-sensitive rodent line, UV40, has been identified in the collection of ultraviolet light- (UV-) sensitive mutants of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells isolated at the previous Facility for Automated Experiments in Cell Biology (FAECB).
